Is housed in the old Malta Palace of Fifty-five Windows in the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The museum has a rich collection of paubha scroll paintings, bronze, brass, and wooden images. There is also a unique illustrated book on horses that folds out to over 10 ft in length. There are stone images of Shiva and Vishnu, masterpieces of medieval masonry. The gallery also has a rare image of Lord of Heaven, Indra. Open daily, except Tuesdays and holidays, from 10 am to 4 pm; Friday: 10 am to 3 pm. Entrance fee is Rs. 5 for foreign visitors and there is an extra charge of Rs. 10 for cameras
