1st day
Depart London Gatwick by British Airways for Cairo and transfer to the Movenpick Heliopolis Hotel.
LUXOR
2nd day
Fly to Luxor where accommodation is at the Luxor Hilton for 2 nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
3rd day
A free day to relax by the hotel pool, visit Luxor Bazaar to shop for handicrafts or take an optional tour to the temples of Denderah and Abydos.
LUXOR TO ASWAN CRUISE
4th day
Morning free before boarding the Oberoi Shemazad. After lunch there will be a visit to the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.
5th day
Sightseeing on the West Bank of the Nile including the Valley of the Kings and the tomb of Tutankhamen. Sail to Esna.
6th day
Morning visit to the temple of Khnum at Esna. Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Home.
ASWAN
7th day
Sail to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. Sail to Aswan, and moor overnight
8th day
Disembark after breakfast and take a felucca sail around Elephantine Island. Transfer to the Aswan Oberoi Hotel. Afternoon free.
CAIRO
9th day
An optional excursion by air may be taken this morning to see the temples at Abu Simbel. Return to Cairo where our accommodation is at the Oberoi Mena Garden Hotel.
10th day
This morning visit the famous Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, on the edge of
the Sahara desert. The afternoon is at leisure.
11th day A visit to the renowned Egyptian Museum with its superb collection
of priceless antiquities including the treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamen.
Remainder of the day is free.
