Swan Island Farm - Leitrim`s Best Kept Secret

Swan Island Farm opened to the public in 1998, and is a family-run business.
Swan Island Farm’s facilities include a marina, an open animal farm and a restaurant.
The Marina is set in a secure and sheltered harbour and consists of 3 individual floating jetties. Each jetty has its own private entrance and the jetties are set well apart for extra privacy and quietness.
The Restaurant is housed in a refurbished 200-year-old farm cottage with open fires and stone floors. The restaurant exudes an ambience that will sweep you back in time. Excellent food, wine and beer are served all day .The cottage also contains a small gift/sweet shop.
The Open Animal Farm is home too many species of animals and fowl. Both native and exotic, the variety of animals available are guaranteed to surprise and delight you for hours, whatever your age…!
For the younger members of the family, there is also a playground and picnic area. With many small roads in the area, there is also ample opportunity to take a leisurely walk or a cycle in the locality.
