JIM CORBETT'S ADVENTURE TRAILS IN KUMAON.

Keeping in mind the adventurous nature of Sir James Edward Corbett - the great environmentalist and hunter who fought the epic battle against the man-eaters of Kumaon hills, (who had struck terror between 1900-1950 and had claimed more than 2000 human lives) we have design trips Which take you down memory lane to the times of probably the world's greatest hunter of man-eating tigers.

These trips are a combination of jeep safaries, short treks and rafting trips to Corbett's man-eater sites in Kumaon. They promise to be an ideal holiday trip away from the monotonous routine and madness of the daily city life. These trips take you right into the heart of the wilderness in the lap of nature and promise a life-long memorable experience for the wild-life lover.

CORBETT
With an area of 520.8 sq. km., Corbett National Park is a protected area created by the government of UP to prote the immense wildlife treasures. The tourist season stretches from November 15 to June 15 and the main tourist centre is at Dhilka. One can hire coaches and jeeps and even elephants to view the exotic species of wildlife that the park houses. The varied fauna includes the tiger, leopard, elephant, bear, hog and sambhar deer, fox, and the mugger and gharial crocodiles amongst others. The park also boasts of a large flora variety.

Corbett National Park is apprt1dched by road from the nearest airport, Pantnagar (110 km) and its nearest railhead Ramnagar (51 km).
