The waterfall is 10 km from Kolem railway station, 60 kms east of Panaji. It falls from a height of 603 meters. The colour of the water is milky white thus named Dudhsagar or ocean of milk.

Mahabir Wildlife Sanctuary: It is the biggest sanctuary of Goa and is spread over 240 sq. km of forest Land and is a heaven for bird watchers.

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary: 55 km from Panaji, this sanctuary is located at a height of about 3000 feet on the slopes of the western hilly range. There is a natural botanical garden where a deer sanctuary and a zoo have been established. Rangado river flows on to the east of this forest and Madhel on its north. Bondla forest nests bison, wild beer, deer, leopard, varoius types of serpents and birds. On to its way, the only mosque Safa Shahouri Masjid built by Ali Adilshah in 1560 can be seen at Ponda.
