(A) BREAST FEEDING

This practice of Breast Feeding is almost universal but most babies are now bottle fed. It appears that nature meant the human young ones to thrive on their mother's milk. It is a fact that upto 3-4 months of age of the infant, breast milk proves the best nutrition. It nearly remains a complete food needing little fortification. The psychological advantaged and the smooth establishment of healthy parent-child relationship, when a child is fed willingly. It has a great effect on making his personality healthy and balanced.

(B) ENCOURAGING BREAST FEEDING

The Advantages of breast feeding should be emphasised. We must make sure that the nipples are not retracted. During last weeks of pregnancy some secretion is there which should not be allowed to dry on the nipples, the breasts should be kept clean.
