Churu
is famous for Kothari Haveli (1915) and Kanhaiya Lal Bagla Haveli (1870)
with superb life - size paintings of Dhola Maru, Sassi-Punu etc. the
six-storied high Surana Haveli with more that 1,100 doors and windows and
many other havelis with painted rooms and facades.

Lachhmangar : It is one of the best forts in this region. There is also
imposing Ganeriwala Haveli.
§ Mandawa : Thre
are many havelis in Madawa notable are the Chokidhani Saraf and Ladia
havelies.
§ Fatehpur : A very good place
to see the combination of Indian and western style frescoes. The Devra,
Singhania and Goenka havelis can be seen as also the Jalan and Bharatiya
havelies.
§ Ratangarh : Ratangarh is
situated on Agra-Bikaner National Highway and is 52 km from Churu towards
Bikaner. The Raja of Bikaner named it Ratangarh in 1820 AD by building a
fort on the site of a village. The market of the town is in the shape of a
cross giving impression a planned town. Painted havelis are situated around
the clock tower at the main crossing.

Sardarshahr : 46 kim from Churu and 150 km from Bikaner, this is the
most enchanting town of the desert. The havelis here, besides colourful wall
paintings, have some remarkable carved woodwork.

Dudahwa Khara : 36 km from Churur towards Rajgarh, it is a bigh but old
historical village situated on enchanting topography of the Thar Desert.
There are some huge havelis, having excellent architectural designs. This
village is ideal for enjoying ruler life and camel safaris.

Tal Chhappar : The natural habitat of balckbuck is 100 km away from
Churu. The endangered species of blackbuck and some migratory birds can be
seen in this wild life sanctuary. Forests guides are available to take
visitors around.
